Our Team

Linda Z:

I have been with OVVH for over 20 years. I started as a veterinary assistant and have held several positions over the years. Currently I am in charge of the bookkeeping. When I am not at OVVH, I am very involved in animal rescue and founded Collie Rescue, Inc., a non-profit animal rescue serving Virginia and Maryland.

Jazmyn G:

My name is Jazmyn. I'm originally from Vermont, but have enjoyed living in NOVA for the last 3 years. I started at OVVH as a receptionist, a veterinary assistant, and an administrative assistant in the spring of 2018. I took over the reigns as Practice Manager in 2020! I'm on a journey to obtain my Master's degree in Healthcare Administration. I have an 8 year old English Bulldog named Dozer. In my free time I enjoy painting, baking, museums, and trying new food. I am beyond excited to lead this amazing team!

Maxwell B:

My name is Maxwell. I was born in El Salvador but moved to the U.S. at the age of 12. I'm fluent in Spanish and English! I've been in the veterinary field for 2 years and I want to become a veterinary pathologist, open my own clinic, and build a shelter for dogs in the future! In my free time, you can find me eating ramen noodles, skateboarding, rollerskating, drawing, cooking, and boxing.

Rhealene F:

My name is Rhealene and I recently moved to Virginia from Chicago with my husband, our 2 cats and Australian Shepherd puppy named Goose! I've enjoyed working with animals my entire life, from taking in orphaned wildlife to officially working as a veterinary technician in the Southern California desert. In our free time, my husband and I like to take Goose out camping, hiking and stand-up paddle boarding.

Kelsey S:

Hi! I’m Kelsey. I’m originally from Maryland, but have called Northern VA home for 10 years now. I have two dogs, Nina and Oden and a son named Isaiah, who also shares my love for animals. When I’m not with my pups and my son, you can find me hiking or eating some tacos! I’ve been working with animals for 5 years and I’m so happy to continue my passion here at OVVH! I'll be the one smiling and greeting you at the front door.

Melissa B:

Hi! I'm Melissa and I'm originally from Southern California but grew up in Herndon and studied Anthropology at GMU. I have been in the veterinary field for 10+ years! I have a national certification in canine massage therapy and I live at home with my handful of pets.

Marisol Y:

Hi! I'm Sol, I was born in Peru but was raised and lived in Northern Virginia my whole life. I'm always looking for a new adventure or a new project to start. Many things have changed through out my life but one thing that has always stayed the same is my love for animals. Bringing home stray animals or injured birds was my favorite thing to do as a child. It was definitely love towards animals that have led me down this path of animal care. Thanks to OVVH I'm now starting a new adventure as a Veterinarian Assistant and look forward to growing and learning here.

Marissa B:

Hi! My name is Marissa. I’m from upstate NY, but have lived in the NOVA area for the majority of my life. Since the day I was born, animals have surrounded me. It was inevitable that I would become such an animal lover! I have worked professionally with animals since 2016, but I have been pet sitting for as long as I can remember. I currently live with 4 dogs and 2 cats, but only 2 are my own babies. I have a Siberian husky named Kobe, and a pit bull mix named Gunner. In my free time, you will almost always find me doing something with my dogs. Other interests of mine include horror movies, camping, amusement parks, spending time with family and friends, literally anything fall related and finding new food trucks and restaurants to try. I’m excited to continue my career as a veterinary technician here at OVVH, and look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!
